Coaches, Elizabeth Gale and Sarah Bickford, were very proud of all students who performed in the PDSSSC Dance Competition at the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre on Friday. Our performers were commended for amazing sportsmanship and community spirit shown throughout the day.
Our Dance Elective Class danced beautifully and competed against 10 schools in the Contemporary Category and placed third overall.
Angel Asiata lead her amazing team to a spine tingling performance in the Cultural Category to win with a performance that moved the judges to tears.
Congratulations to all students who performed. These fantastic results reflected your dedication and commitment throughout the year towards this competition.

๐ก Early offers and UAC applications: the breakdown. ๐ก โถ๏ธ With a UAC application, students can access 2,500+ courses across more than 30 universities and colleges. โถ๏ธ Applications open Wednesday 8 April 2026. โถ๏ธ The main offer rounds for Year 12s are in December and January, after ATARs are released. โถ๏ธ UACโs early offer scheme is called the Schools Recommendation Scheme (SRS). Once students complete their UAC application, they can also apply for SRS. While itโs open to all students, not all courses and universities participate. โถ๏ธ SRS assesses students using criteria other than (or in addition to) their ATAR, like their Year 11 results and the school's rating of them. These offers are usually released in November.

Year 11 and 12 Pasifika students recently attended an enriching excursion to the Australian Museum, deepening their understanding of their history, languages, and cultural identity. Aligned with our Te Vaka O St Agnes framework and the NSW Wellbeing Framework, the experience supported students to connect with their ancestors, feel grounded in the present, and confidently navigate their future pathways. The day featured a range of engaging activities, including the Kumi Kainga ice-breaker, a guided Wansolmoana tour of Pasifika artefacts, Talanoa and values mapping, and the sharing of โsweet stories.โ Students responded with overwhelmingly positive feedback, highly recommending the program for future cohorts. Many also reflected on a deeper awareness of their place within their communities and the meaningful roles they may play in the future.

700+ Unite for Project Compassion Big Water Walk
More than 700 students and staff from 23 schools across Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD) came together for Caritas Australiaโs Big Water Walk in support of Project Compassion. Beginning at Parramatta Park, students carried buckets of water along a 4km route, gaining a glimpse of the daily journey faced by people in developing communities, especially women and children, in search of clean water.
