Daphne Vili competed in the 2015 Captivate's Got Talent last month at Xavier College where she successfully auditioned for the program and was one of 13 dance acts selected from 40 high calibre works.
She participated in a mentoring day where she worked with industry professionals and then performed in front of a panel of judges, members of CEO and parents. Daphne was awarded the PROFESSIONAL OPPORTUNITY AWARD given to a student who could move into a semi professional career in their field.
BJ Rourke, from Season 1 So You Think You Can Dance, was on the judging panel and personally awarded her a workshop scholarship with industry leaders at his studio, A-Live Performing Arts Centre, Penrith. Alissa Buttiglieri, an ex Marian College student and life coach , will be working with Daphne on goal setting, life skills, etc.
An exciting moment for Daphne will be an appearance in Jayden Rodrigues' (X Factor) and NeWest's next film clip. This is an awesome opportunity for Daphne and we wish her luck in the future.

As part of the Return to Paradise delegation, St Agnes Catholic High School had the privilege of strengthening our partnership with the school and presenting their students with new football and basketball jerseys. 2026 HSC Showcase Reminder!!! 1 Day to Go!!! Our showcase is tomorrow night and we are looking forward to welcoming the community to see the Year 12 major works. Tickets are still available through EventBrite so get in quick! https://26sachsintra.eventbrite.com.au Details The event starts at 5pm and finishes at 7:30pm It will be held in the Hall Light refreshments will be served by our Hospitality team There is NO access via Evans Road (the old front of school) Parking Please park on Minchinbury Street and enter via the #23 house. Ushers will be there to guide you. Alternatively you are encouraged to park at ECQ and walk over. Please try not to park in the cul de sac on St Agnes Avenue or block resident driveways.
