Morris Gleitzman Performance
11 Jun 2014

Morris Gleitzman
Morris Gleitzman is an accomplished author of 35 books, published in more than 20 countries, and is loved by children around the world.
Morris captivated students from various primary schools and St Agnes as he shared the joy and tragedy of writing his new book Loyal Creatures about 16-year-old volunteer, Frank Ballantyne and his horse Daisy in WWI. Paul, an accomplished actor, presented a captivating live performance bringing to life magic moments from his book.
At the end of the performance students had a opportunity to ask Morris or Paul questions regarding the book or about Morris’s writing experiences. Morris also signed copies of his book.

On 19 February, a group of our students had the opportunity to serve the community alongside Mr Mangion and Mrs Maloney. After preparing food at Vinnies in Greystanes, they distributed sandwiches, snacks and drinks to those in need in Mount Druitt and Parramatta. The experience was both humbling and meaningful, reminding us all of the importance of compassion, service and supporting those in our local community. ๐
