๐จ๐ผ๏ธ Art Gallery of NSW Excursion ๐๏ธโจ Students in Years 11 and 12 visited the @artgalleryofnsw for the artexpress_official exhibition. Students were able to see the best bodies of work from Year 12, 2024 and hopefully inspire them in their own artmaking. They also saw the highly popular neon, cyber futuristic exhibition by Chinese Australian artist @cao_fei - My City is Yours.

๐ธ International Womenโs Day 2025 โ Accelerating Action! ๐โจ ๐ธ At St Agnes, we celebrated International Womenโs Day by reflecting on the incredible women who inspire us and taking real steps toward gender equality. This yearโs theme, "Accelerate Action," encouraged our school community to move beyond words and make a difference. ๐ธ Check out the highlights from our IWD celebrations! Our Year 12 SRC and Year 11 Media Portfolio captured powerful moments of staff and students sharing inspiring messages. ๐ฌ๐ก Our School Captains, Angela and Ethan, led an interactive information stall, sparking meaningful conversations about gender equality and how we can all be Change Makers. ๐ ๐ฅ A special thank you to our Year 12 leaders for creating an educational video on IWD, which was shared with the whole school to inspire action! Together, we broke down barriers, challenged stereotypes, and fostered leadership among young women. Designed to connect young people with a professional from an industry of interest to them, to find out what steps needed to take to get the career they want. Industry pros will be sharing resume tips, interview insights and what qualifications a young person needs to get to start in the field. In addition, helping young people improve their resumes on the spot and providing lots of tips to help young people improve their job-seeking outcomes. Food and drinks will be provided.
