Our Intermediate Basketball team not only won their PDSSSC competition last term, they went on to participate in the CCC Regional Basketball tournament at Penrith on Thursday and Friday. After winning 4 from 5 games they qualified for the State Finals in August.

This student-led initiative, planned by our Year 12 SRC in collaboration with Mrs Karafotias and Mrs Dwyer, aligns with National Skills Week and aims to inspire and inform students as they explore future career pathways. Students will be exposed to a wide range of opportunities beyond school, including university, vocational education and training (VET), apprenticeships, and employment. They will engage with industry professionals, alumni, and guest speakers, including Adam Newman (The Careers Guy), gaining valuable real-world insights. Students are invited to dress as their future career aspiration, ensuring attire is appropriate and respectful. All footwear must be enclosed. A โWhen I Grow Upโ photo station will be available throughout the day. Students not dressed in career clothing will be required to dress in full- school winter uniform. A detailed schedule has been shared via Compass.
