Today, our school leaders did a wonderful job leading our ANZAC Day Assembly to commemorate all Australians and New Zealanders who have served in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations. 𝑺𝒕 𝑨𝒈𝒏𝒆𝒔 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝑬𝒙𝒑𝒐 will be held on 29th April. This student-led initiative, planned by our Year 12 SRC in collaboration with Mrs Karafotias and Mrs Dwyer, aligns with National Skills Week and aims to inspire and inform students as they explore future career pathways. Students will be exposed to a wide range of opportunities beyond school, including university, vocational education and training (VET), apprenticeships, and employment. They will engage with industry professionals, alumni, and guest speakers, including Adam Newman (The Careers Guy), gaining valuable real-world insights. Students are invited to dress as their future career aspiration, ensuring attire is appropriate and respectful. All footwear must be enclosed. A “When I Grow Up” photo station will be available throughout the day. Students not dressed in career clothing will be required to dress in full- school winter uniform. A detailed schedule has been shared via Compass.
